Penny Stock Editorial
We often get asked if there are any online stock brokers for trading penny stocks that do not require a minimum amount to open an account. The answer is yes, though we admit that the brokerage firms we like all have minimum requirements to open an account, usually $1,000 with some as high as $2,500.
Many people asking about no minimum accounts usually are interested because they have little money to trade, $200 or even less. We usually tell them to save up some more before having a go at penny stocks, but for those who insist, here are four online brokers that do not have any minimum to open accounts:
firsttrade.com
tradingdirect.com
lowtrades.com
choicetrade.com
We do not trade with any of them and so cannot vouch or recommend them but from what we hear all of them are OK, with Choice Trade getting particularly high praise.
Scottrade is a well-known, straightforward good brokerage but they require a minimum of $500 to open an account.
Hope this information helps.

It took me time to learn all the comments, but I honestly loved the blog. It proved to be very advantageous to me and I’m positive to all of the followers here!
Great line up. We will be linking to this great article on our site. Keep up the good writing.
Thanks for the information on brokers.
Would you mind if I placed this post on my blog? I would certainly give you credit and a link back to your webpage. Many thanks, and if possible let me know here, or email me!
My buddy said that the rules of the game are on this page yet I can not find them.
Latasha,
What rules are these?
